7 Daily Happy Habits to Make Life Easier.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. ~ Psalm 37:4

Hey people! Today I'm going to share with you 7 happy habits to help with productivity, mental health, and overall happiness. Here we go!

1. Reading

Reading stimulates the brain, and helps you learn and take your mind off things. I recommend reading one non-fiction and one fiction book a month, but that's totally up to you.

2. Daily intention

Try setting a daily intention the night before. Something you've been working on, something you want to start working on, or anything else. It can be anything, really.

3. Exercise

Exercising doesn't have to be hard, it can be something like dancing to your favorite songs, or going for a walk with your friends. You don't have to do hard cardio for an hour everyday. Just getting your body moving is great for your moods and overall well - being.

4. Hydrate

Staying hydrated can be extremely difficult for some, and super easy for others. But the benefits to drinking at least half of your weight in ounces every day are shocking. If you find water tasteless or gross, try adding cucumber, raspberries, or any other fruit, berry, or veggie. Lemon and lime also work like a charm. Don't pressure yourself to chug a gallon in one sitting, just keep a water bottle with you throughout the day and sip on it while doing a puzzle, reading, or any other activity. Just keeping your water bottle with you throughout the day can help so much.

5. Hobby

Sitting down to do a puzzle, paint, or play the piano are all things that surprisingly make a large impact on our mood. Doing what you love will both take your mind off things while learning/having fun!

6. Go outside

Going outside and breathing some fresh air is good for you physically and mentally. Go for a walk or bike ride, or just sit out on your back patio and look out.

7. To-do list

Using a to-do list can be stressful or helpful. It depends on how you see it. Making a to-do list with a large range of things from easy to hard helps a lot. For example,  "make your bed" and, "clean the kitchen." Provides a large range of difficulty. It doesn't take much work to make your bed so when you do, and cross it off, you already feel productive and accomplished, pushing you to do the harder things.

And those are your 7 things! Equip these to your life and live the best one possible!

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. ~ Philippians 4:4
